5. User Responsibilities

5.1 Token Security and Hygiene

You are solely responsible for:

  • Generating, storing, and managing your GitHub access tokens securely
  • Ensuring tokens have appropriate scope and permissions
  • Regularly rotating tokens according to security best practices
  • Immediately revoking tokens if compromised
  • Not sharing tokens with unauthorized parties
  • Understanding the permissions granted by your tokens

5.2 Repository Management

You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing all changes before they are committed to your repository
  • Maintaining appropriate version control practices
  • Creating and maintaining backups of your repositories
  • Understanding how the App interacts with your GitHub repositories
  • Any changes made to your repositories through the App
